For teachers

Abacus Striker for teachers

Host a Class Battle, and your students answer the same questions at the same pace on their own devices. Linked teachers also get a teacher portal.

Class Battles

A Class Battle is a game you host for your students in Abacus Striker. Here is how it works.

  1. Host a battle

You set up the battle and host it for your students.

  2. Students join with a code

Each student joins with the code, on their own device.

  3. Same questions, same pace

Everyone gets the same questions at the same pace, and the rankings update live each round.

  4. Export the results

You can export the results of the battle.

What you can set

  • 1 to 50 questions
  • 1 to 20 rounds
  • 5 to 120 seconds per question
  • Breaks of 5 to 600 seconds
  • A schedule, so you can set up a battle ahead of time

The teacher portal

Once your teacher access is linked, you get a teacher portal in Abacus Striker, with sections including:

  • Overview
  • My students
  • Entered
  • Battles
  • Scoreboard
  • Registrations
  • Fees
  • Results
  • Prize-day slots

Entering children for a competition

  1. You enter the child

You can enter a child for a competition from the teacher portal.

  2. The parent confirms

The consent request still goes to the parent: consent is a code (OTP) sent to the parent's mobile, not a tick box.

After that, the Abacus Striker platform handles each step of the entry. See how the competition journey continues.
